Dallas Graham & The Red Fred Project Hit RDT's Ring Around The Rose Stage 5/12
Repertory Dance Theatre is excited to bring a new artist to the Ring Around the Rose stage for the final performance of the 20th anniversary season. As the founder of The Red Fred Project, Dallas Graham is no stranger to the impact that art can have on children. He'll share the art of the story on May 12 at 11 am at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
What is a STORY? How does it work? Where does it go when you throw it into the sky? And why, oh why, is it important to make your own? Let's find out. Together! Dallas Graham and his team from The Red Fred Project will explore storytelling in a fun and interactive way for all ages.
The Red Fred Project finds children living in extraordinary circumstances (rare diseases, critical illnesses, life-limiting situations) and asks them the question: If you could write a book for the entire world to read, what would it be about? The team publishes books written by these children and leave lasting impressions on both the author and the readers. Read more about them here>> As is the case with all Ring Around the Rose shows, the performance will be "wiggle-friendly" and interactive. Children and families alike won't want to miss this fun and unique show!Ring Around The Rose is a wiggle-friendly series of performances for children and families that explores the magical world of the arts including dance, theatre, music and storytelling. All shows begin at 11:00am at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W Broadway, SLC. Shows are $5 (kids 2 and under are free).
