WHAT THE DICKENS?, MEDICAL MAYHEM & More Set for B Street Theatre's 2013-14 School Tour
The B Street Theatre, Sacramento's Resident Professional, New Works Theatre, has announced its 2013-14 School Tour productions. The B Street Theatre School Tour has brought its funny, fast-paced touring productions to schools and organizations serving children and families throughout Northern California since 1986. These shows energize school assemblies and bring history, literature, and science topics to life for children of all ages. B Street Theatre is Sacramento's only professional theatre for young and serves over 200,000 children annually.
This year, the B Street Theatre School Tour will explore the worlds of Dickens and modern medicine, and present its 28th Fantasy Festival tour. Each spring, B Street premieres the five winning plays from its annual children's playwrighting contest as the Fantasy Festival tour, putting theatre industry professionals at the service of young writers' imaginations.

Tour Booking: For more information or to book a performance of the B Street Theatre School Tour, contact Alison Whismore at (916) 442-5635. Performances are priced at $500 for one show, $900 for two shows on the same day, and $1300 for three shows on the same day. In order for audience members to be able to see, hear, and participate, each show accommodates a maximum of 450 children.
Fantasy Festival: 3rd through 8th grade students in Northern California are encouraged to enter their short plays in B Street Theatre's annual Fantasy Festival children's playwrighting contest.
