SSU Department of Theatre Arts & Dance Brings HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE On the Road

By:

Sonoma State University Department of Theatre Arts & Dance is behind the wheel again with Paula Vogel's "How I Learned to Drive."  The critically acclaimed production, which sold out each of its SSU campus performances last fall, is slated for three encore performances in February and March.

The production, its director, cast and crew are taking the show on the road for a benefit performance presented at The Glaser Center in Santa Rosa on Friday, Feb. 24. Proceeds benefit the Glaser Center. For tickets go to http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/224534

Additional encore performances will be presented at Feb. 10 at Napa Valley College in Napa and March 14 at Warren Auditorium-Ives 101 / Ives Hall, on the campus of Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park.

"How I Learned to Drive," directed by Danielle Cain, is a black comedy tracing a woman's path through time as she recalls learning the rules of the road (and life) from behind the wheel of her uncle's '62 Buick Riviera. The cast features David O'Connell, Hana Casita, Autumn Mirassou, Dominic Dei Rossi and Isabella Neustadt. The play is recommended for audiences 15 and over.
