Imagination Theater to Hold Fourth Annual Fundraiser 8/19
By: Gabrielle Sierra
Imagination Theater will host its fourth annual fundraiser, "An Affair to Remember," on Friday, August 19, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Smith Flat House in Placerville. The theater is excited about this new location as it is suited for this year's theme, "A Summer Wedding Reception." Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the door.
Enjoy an evening of fine wines and food while bidding on items donated by local businesses and individuals. There will be a live and silent auction during the evening. Proceeds will benefit Imagination Theater and allow it to continue to provide quality, creative live theater in the foothills. IT is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. This auction is a great opportunity to shop early for holiday gifts. An all-inclusive weekend in Ashland Oregon, wine tours, dinners, massages, themed gift baskets, and season theater tickets are just a few of the many items that await. The cast of the fall production, Father of the Bride, will be joining the celebration and participants are encouraged to wear wedding attire.Contact Imagination Theater at (530) 642-0404 for more information and to purchase tickets. Also, donations for this event are being collected through July 31. Please support the best homegrown theater in the foothills.
