City Theatre Announces Auditions for THE OLD CEMETERY PLAYS: LOCAL PLAYWRIGHTS PROJECT, 11/23 & 11/24
City Theatre announces auditions for The Old Cemetery Plays: Local Playwrights Project. This event includes 8 short plays over two evenings by Sacramento playwrights. Auditions will be Monday, November 23 from 7:30 to 10:30 pm and Tuesday, November 24 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at the Art Court Theatre Sacramento City College.
The theater will be casting 20 actors: male and female, Anglo, Latino, African American, and Asian, ages 18 - 60. All actors will appear in 2 plays; 1 each night.
Rehearsals begin after Thanksgiving rehearsing weeknights, and weekends. There will be time off during the holidays. Performance dates are January 22 through February 7.
Playwrights include Lisa Lacy, Jerry Montoya, Nina Breton, and others. Directors include Christine Nicholson, Adrienne Sher, Kim McCann, and more.

City Theatre is the performing arts program at Sacramento City College, part of the Los Rios Community College District, in Sacramento, California. Their program offers a variety of classes in acting, technical theatre, film studies and theatre history.
