Capital Stage Issues Statement Regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak

Read a statement from Capital Stage is concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus):

"As the 2019/20 season at Capital Stage continues, we'd like to inform you that all performances are currently proceeding as scheduled. Capital Stage shares the public's concerns about protecting against the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The safety and health of our community is a top priority.

We are taking steps to minimize the risk of contamination for theatre-goers.
At Capital Stage we are taking the following precautions:

  • Providing hand sanitizer in the lobby and other public spaces.
  • Using disinfecting wipes to sanitize theatre seat armrests, railings, door handles, patio tables, and public counter spaces before each performance.
  • Keeping the box office door open 30 minutes prior to performances to avoid as much contact as possible.
  • Encouraging staff to wash hands as often as possible and to avoid contact with others.

We encourage you to follow the World Health Organization's advisories and remember to wash your hands often, avoid touching your face, and most importantly stay home if you feel sick. We'll be happy to exchange your tickets for when you're feeling better.

See you at the theatre!
