B Street Theatre Announces Their Summer Acting Camps 2010

Once again the B Street Theatre is offering a series of acting workshops for kids ages 6-17. During these wildly popular workshops, students will learn in a fun, exciting, and creative environment from professional instructors who are active in the fields of theatre, improvisation, and acting instruction.

Camp sessions last one or two weeks and are lead by, B Street regular, Kurt Johnson. Acting concepts are taught through a combination of theatre games, acting exercises, improvisation, the rehearsal process and performance.

Every camp concludes with a final showcase production where the young actors can show off everything they have learned! Come and join the fun!!!

Junior Acting Camp (6-8)
TUITION: $250.00 (Due at time of registration)

Session 1: July 5th - July 12th, 2010
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 4pm-8pm on final Monday (July 12th)

Session 2: July 26th - August 2nd, 2010
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 3pm-8pm on final Monday (August 2nd)

Kids Acting Camp (9-13)
TUITION: $400.00 (Due at time of registration)

Session 1: June 21st - July 5th, 2010
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 4pm-8pm on final Monday (July 5th )

Session 2: July 12th - July 26th, 2010
Monday - Friday 9am-1pm with 4pm-8pm on final Monday (July 26th )

Teen Acting Camp (14-17)
TUITION: $400.00 (Due at time of registration)

August 2nd - August 16th, 2010
Monday - Friday 10am-2pm with 3pm-8pm on final Monday (August 16th)

Classes meet at the B Street Theatre on either the Mainstage or the Family Series stage.
