"It is an opera about the crisis"
Alexander Titel of new production on the stage of the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre:
"Boris Godunov" - a work still excites us, forcing worry meditate. Opera of the crisis - and it's in the story. We are talking about a crisis in relations between the authorities and the people, prompted by a change of dynasty - as a result of the people no longer trust the authorities and to respect it. I would like to play our characters were recognizable to the front of the auditorium turned living history. Not limited by some timeframes, tells not only of Boris Godunov, who was, but that Boris Godunov to be.

In preparation for the performance I had no problem shock.
