Ekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre is the premiere one-Act Ballets "XIX/XX/XXI. Three centuries, three ballets, three styles»

"Conservatory" choreographed by the Danish choreographer August Burnonvilâ – classic masterpiece, an example of strict academism. It is one of the oldest ballets, dating from the year 1848. Yekaterinburg theater will show viewers only the most interesting part of it is a divertissement, a lesson in classical dance. Seen in theatrical form, as artists grind their skills in dance halls, will certainly be interesting to everyone. Of course, the choreography of Burnonvilâ gives you an idea of what looked like a ballet lesson in the 19th century, but it must be said that, with regard to the classics, since then very little has changed.

Dean Byrne Ballet puts Larsen, a recognized expert on heritage August Burnonvilâ, representative of the famous ballet dynasty, former soloist of the Royal Danish Ballet. "Five Argentinean tango music composer Astor Piazzolla, staged by Hans van Manen first enters the Repertoire of Russian Theatre (world premiere of the Ballet took place in the year 1977 in Amsterdam). MEA Venema, assistant choreographer, the Dutch's first collaboration with the Russian company over the staging of the "five Tango». MEA danced in twenty three ballets Van Manen, most of which have been specially for her. She also participated in productions of Ji?í Kylián, John Butler, Jerome Robbins and many others prominent European choreographers. On completion of her performing career, Mea Venema completely devoted herself to choreography Hans van Manen – for thirty years she taught his style of dancers around the world. Rehearse with the Prime ekaterinburgskimi artists and the Dutch National Ballet, Alexander Žembrovskij.

Artist Jean-Paul Vroom was the author of the scenography and costumes the first staging of the "five Tango». In the workshop of the Dutch theatre have created designs that were manufactured in the workshops of our theatre costumes for all participants of the Yekaterinburg productions.
