Multiple IBMA Song of the Year and Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year awards. Multiple SPBGMA awards, and multiple GRAMMY nominations. IBMA Recorded Event of the Year award with old friends J.D. Crowe and Paul Williams. A list of distinguished band members too long to recount, all proud alumni of Doyle's “School of Bluegrass” (to quote the title of one of his 43 albums). A constantly inventive musician and performer, and a longtime Emelin favorite.
