White Plains Performing Arts Center will present the New York Regional Premiere of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award Winning Play by Tracy Letts.

October 5-14, 2012
Friday & Saturday at 8pm
Sunday at 2pm
Tickets: $35 adults; $25 high school
This play is recommended for 16 and older.
The cast features Laura Cable (Karen Weston), Eileen Glenn (Mattie Fay Aiken), Emily Kaplan (Jean Fordham), Suzy Kimball (Ivy Weston), Elyse Knight (Barbara Fordham), Mark Lanham (Bill Fordham), Daniel Mian (Little Charlie Aiken), Peter McClung (Charlie Aiken), Dick Nagle (Beverly Weston) and Robin Lilly (Violet Weston) with Derek RoBert Smith (Steve Heidebrecht), Arthur Wise (Sheriff Deon Gilbeau) and Amanda Yachechak (Johnna Monevata).

AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY is directed by Jeremy Quinn, WPPAC's Producing Artistic Director whose notable directing credits at WPPAC include: Spring Awakening, CATS and Lend Me A Tenor.

AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY premiered at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, followed by a successful run on Broadway where it won five 2008 Tony Awards including Best Play and is soon to be a major motion picture starring Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Juliette Lewis, Sam Shepard, Chris Cooper, Dermot Mulroney and Ewan McGregor - directed by John Wells and produced by The Weinstein Company and George Clooney.

All performances are at the White Plains theatre, located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains.
