Holiday Toy Collection Announced at Westchester Broadway Theatre
Westchester Broadway theatre will participate in toy collection drives this Holiday Season for two worthy Organizations. One is for The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The Tunnel To Towers Foundation has been sending lots of supplies and volunteers to Texas since shortly after Hurricane Harvey hit and will continue its relief efforts this month with the addition of a Toy Drive. Toy donations for The foundation will be collected at WBT Through December 4th. A group of NYC Firefighters will then bring the Toys to Beaumont and Orange, Texas. John Hodge, the CEO, said, "The reality is homes are not going to be repaired or rebuilt any time soon so we think the kids are probably facing a pretty bleak Christmas already We want to try to bring them a little bit of joy for the holidays."
In addition, our annual Toys For Tots collection will also take place during this holiday season through mid- December. Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.
