White Plains Performing Arts Center Conservatory Theatre presents Gypsy, April 15-17. The ultimate story about an aggressive stage mother's quest to live vicariously through her daughters' fame. Join Rose, June and Louise in their trip across the United States during the 1920's, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born. This gripping story highlights one of the most compelling and distressing aspects of show business. A classic musical with many Tony Awards to its name, Gypsy has been a Broadway favorite since it opened in 1959. With a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, songs include Let Me Entertain You, If Momma Was Married, You Gotta Get A Gimmick, Everything's Coming Up Roses and many more.

The cast features the talents of Kelly Ainsworth, Ava Bradlow, Amanda Brea, Simone Carcer, Katherine Chavez, Megan Fay, Kathleen Fox, Temia Innamorato, Kate Jaffee, Maeve Kraiger, Ashleigh Nutt, Lee Price, Nathan Rabinowitz-Berk, Catherine Serra, Carson Stewart, Zack Tashoff, and Nick Varsames.

The production is directed by Jeff Raab, with musical direction by Kathryn Krull and choreography by Avital Ausleen.

Gypsy performs on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16 at 8pm and Sunday, April 17 at 2pm at the White Plains Performing Arts Center located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains. Tickets are $20 and $25.
