Emelin Theatre Presents Holiday Jam and Food Drive With Emily Angell And Friends

Emelin's 'Made In Westchester Series' welcomes the very talented Emily Angell, along with some of her friends, who will perform rock, folk, blues and holiday favorites at the Emelin's community jam and food drive, on November 29 at 7:30pm.
The theatre invites everybody to bring canned and dried food eg., rice and beans, as well as lightly used, clean clothing that will be donated to St. Thomas Church for those in need.
Hailing from the Southern Tier of New York, singer, songwriter, and producer Emily Angell can be seen all over Westchester and Connecticut singing, strumming and wailing on the harmonica. Known for her emotionally-charged lyrics and a versatile set of vocal chords, she's been compared to Alanis Morissette, Jewel, and Christina Aguilera. Her debut self-released EP The Upset (2011) received kudos for its simple, acoustic approach from "Women of Substance Radio" and "AllMusic.com." Emily's sophomore EP Let Go (2015) incorporates Folk and Rock influences and has earned her the chance to open for Alternative Radio's "American Authors."
