Set in the roaring twenties amidst the glitz and glamor of the Prohibition era, Nice Work If You Can Get It is a screwball musical comedy bursting with infectious Gershwin tunes. We meet Jimmy Winter, a wealthy playboy with a habit of marrying chorus girls. On the verge of another wedding to secure his inheritance, Jimmy encounters the tough-as-nails bootlegger Billie Bendix.

Jimmy, smitten by Billie's fiery spirit, tries to win her over, while Billie uses his luxurious beachfront property to hide her illegal operation. The plot thickens with the arrival of Jimmy's disapproving fiancée and her entourage, leading to a whirlwind of mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and tap-dancing mayhem.
