Review: Broadway Across Canada's & Juliet a rip-roaring pop spectacle
From: Edmonton Journal | Date: 9/30/2026
Fans of pop music from the 90s, the 2000s and the 2010s will have a hard time keeping up with the score, which includes hits by The Weeknd, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, and Pink. Slick as lip gloss, & Juliet is unabashedly a jukebox musical (a jukebox is in the first scene). But don’t be deceived by the pastel trappings of this delightful, fluffy confection. While girly-girl symbols, from unicorns to cartoon-y backpack purses abound, the full-bore, girl-boss message of & Juliet is a powerful one.
