A wild, fact-based comedy tracing Wilhelm Reich’s collision with the federal government over orgone energy, flying saucers, and the “magic sex boxes” that make him notorious. Once one of Freud’s most promising pupils, Reich establishes a laboratory in Rangeley, Maine, where his increasingly bizarre experiments, grandiose claims, and defiance of authority propel him from scientific acclaim into paranoia, prosecution, and prison.
