WANTING TO WIN, KICKS IN FAST Ton-Up, Inc. is proud to announce the release of a live cast recording from the Rock-n-Roll Wrestling Spectacle, “Rockquiem For A Wrestler.” *The CD of a Live Cast Recording containing eight songs from the show, recorded at New York’s Triad Theater on June 27, 2020, was released on January 7, 2022. Featuring the music of Eddie Star (Eddie Star & The Zero Effect, JoyBox) and composer Paul Castrataro (Portrait of Dorian Gray, Fags & Cellphones), the album will initially only be available in the Compact Disc format. “Rockquiem For A Wrestler,” weaves together Tragedy and Comedy and Rock-n-Roll to tell a fictional story of a wrestling champion archetypically inspired by real wrestlers from the past and present. The story revolves around a newly crowned 35-year-old wrestling champion named TD, who, despite his fame, is secretly and desperately running away from the past. We watch TD, spotlit, continue uncontrollably down a Rabbit Hole of unexpected twists and turns, attempting to escape what haunts him in this Rock-n-Roll Wrestling Spectacle.
