Winner of Multiple Tony Awards including Best Musical
Only in Guys and Dolls can a small time mobster fall in love with a Salvation Army officer and in a crap game win a hundred gamblers’ souls.
Only in Guys and Dolls can the minor crook who organizes “The Longest Running” crap game in New York end up running a news stand and making an honest woman of the show girl he has jilted countless times (“So Sue Me”).
Only in Guys and Dolls do women who decide to “Marry the Man Today” and shape him up later truly reform the minor miscreants they love.
Come to celebrate the end of the Athens Theatre Season by chuckling at a world in which true love eventually conquers all, but not before multiple close calls and misunderstandings to the memorable tunes of “A Bushel and a Peck,” “Adelaide’s Lament,” “If I Were a Bell,” “I’ve Never Been in Love Before,” Luck be a Lady,” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”
