Merola Opera Program presents Ariadne auf Naxos, a serio-comic opera by Richard Strauss, as part of its 2026 summer season. Conducted by Ann-Katrin Stöcker and directed by Omer Ben Seadia (Merola '14), the production blends mythological tragedy with comic opera through its inventive "show within a show" structure. The work explores themes of happiness, despair, and love, featuring Merola's emerging artists performing in German with English supertitles.
