As I enter the rehearsal room for the read through of Tambo & Bones, I can’t help but wonder what the backlash might be. Having appeared in quite a few controversial plays recently, I have been shocked, surprised and profoundly heartened by the audiences responses to challenging material.

Finnish heavy metal artist TARJA announced her upcoming 2023 Living the Dream Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 12-city run kicks off on Wednesday, June 14 in Philadelphia, PA at Theatre of The Living Arts, with stops across the U.S. in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping on Friday, June 30 in Berkeley, CA at The UC Theater.

On Saturday, February 4, Long Beach Symphony, under the direction of Maestro Eckart Preu, will rouse audiences with Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor and Vivaldi's Four Seasons, a group of four violin concertos embodying each season of the year.

The tour’s Vancouver date will also feature Mi’ens, a Kill Rock Stars pick, and Fhang, a project that features TEKE::TEKE bassist Mishka Stein and the band’s longtime collaborator and friend, Sam Woywitka.
