Servant Stage will continue its 2023 season with the delightful hit musical, Big Fish. This heartfelt, imaginative, and entertaining story celebrates the extraordinary in everyday life. Based on the celebrated 1998 novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, Big Fish tells the larger-than-life tale of Edward Bloom, a man who leads an extraordinary life– according to the stories he tells his son, Will. But Will, who is getting married and expecting a child of his own, doesn't think there is any truth to the extravagant tales his father tells about meeting giants, mermaids, and joining the circus. When Edward's health begins to decline, Will visits his father and tries one last time to find out the truth behind the tall tales.

Synchronized performances of “The Worlds Is My Oyster” and “FEARLESS” led the set featuring 17 tracks, followed by a mesmerizing performance reminiscent of mermaids dancing in the sea with “The Great Mermaid”. Crossing over different genres that show the act’s versatility throughout the show.

Cap off the summer with the alluring songs of ocean nymphs and explorers when Opera Orlando finishes its annual Opera in Concert: Summer Concert Series with Cuban-American soprano Shannon Jennings. Disney has released the music video for 'The Scuttlebutt' from The Little Mermaid, sung by Awkwafina and Daveed Diggs. The Little Mermaid is now playing in theaters. The film's soundtrack, which features three new songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Alan Menken, is also now available.

The Little Mermaid, which already took in $10.3 million in previews, made $38 million on opening day Friday, May 26th, bringing the 3-day total to $105M and the 4-day total to $125M in its first week of release.
