Fame 2009

Original soundtrack to the 2009 remake of the original Fame motion picture, essentially a rebirth of this very popular franchise. Fame builds on the acclaimed music, dance and drive to shine, while finding new talent and building a new generation. The film was directed by Kevin Tancharoen, whose fast rise in the world of choreography has made him a name in the music industry, working with such artist as Christina Aguliera, Jessica Simpson, Tyrese, and Britney Spears. The film will open on September 25, 2009, on an estimated 3500 screens. Fame has enlisted the talents of a Multi-Platinum, Multi-Grammy "Dream Team" to write and produce classic/new music for the new film including The Matrix (Avril Lavigne, Shakira, Britney Spears), James Poyser (Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Common, Jill Scott) and Damon Elliott (Destiny's Child, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce).
