EP - Drink Me Up 2013

Drink Me Up is a bi-coastal duo comprised of Gabe Bowling and Michelle Vezilj. They are dedicated to creating heartfelt and emotionally driven music without the confines of genre limitations. They are adventurous, expressive, and unafraid to think outside of the box.

Gabe is a songwriter, musician, and actor residing in Los Angeles. He is currently performing in Duncan Sheik and Nell Benjamin’s world premier of Because of Winn Dixie (Otis). He starred in the Chicago production of Million Dollar Quartet (Carl Perkins) for 3 years and in the North American tour of SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody. Gabe was the Christian Grey to Michelle's Anastasia Steele and their chemistry onstage soon translated to music. Michelle (www.michellevezilj.com) is a singer-songwriter and actor based out of New York City. She has been singing solo since she was old enough to speak but she really found her voice when Drink Me Up was conceived. Gabe and Michelle have unique musical sensibilities that blend to form powerful songs. They worked with producer, engineer, and mastermind, Matt "Melodious" Coe, to focus their sound and maximize their music's potential.

Releasing this 4-song EP and music video is just the beginning of making exciting music and innovative videos. When developing their concept for the “So Be It” music video, they wanted to do something that hadn’t been done before. Their goal is to push the boundaries and take risks. With the release of this material, they will continue to write in preparation for their upcoming LP. They strive to explore different styles of music while highlighting their soulful storytelling and harmonies. This is the first of many releases for the duo. So sit back, relax, and drink me up.
