When Beatrix’s daughters leave for college, she feels unmoored—until an unexpected connection with her neighbor, and a glimpse into an alternate reality, forces her to reckon with desire, regret, and love. A quirky, big-hearted new play by Elizabeth Leach, directed by Morgan Piner. Presented as part of OdysseyStage’s NextAct Festival 2025, a three-day celebration of new plays by NC playwrights. Other festival offerings include three additional staged readings, audience talkbacks, and a free Closing Toast on Sunday at 5 PM.
