Twenty years after A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the marriages once blessed by magic are fraying. Shakespearean romance collides with Groucho Marx–style wit as old spells unravel and new chaos takes hold in this witty new play by Charlotte Howard Runde, directed by Katrina Tarson.
Presented as part of OdysseyStage’s NextAct Festival 2025, a three-day celebration of new plays by NC playwrights. Other festival offerings include three additional staged readings, audience talkbacks, and a free Closing Toast on Sunday at 5 PM.
Tickets: $14 single | $27 Festival Pass our.show/nextact
Chapel Hill-Carrboro's OdysseyStage teams up with the Cary Playwrights' Forum (CPF) for a new approach to the annual NC 10by10 Play Festival. Each group produces five ten-minute plays by NC playwrights then all ten are presented in a single production.
