SEEKING

Equity chorus dancers (female characters) for future replacements in the Broadway production of ALADDIN.

The audition process is open to actors of all races and ethnicities, gender identities and ages, as well as performers with disabilities.

We acknowledge the tremendous cultural responsibility inherent in adapting this timeless fable that is based on tales from Africa, Arabia, China, Europe, India, Persia and Russia and beloved across generations and cultures. Our adaptation is deeply indebted to the rich and diverse tapestry that is Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian (MENASA) cultures, languages and aesthetic traditions.

Please note that this production will use smoke and haze in accordance with guidelines established with Actors’ Equity Association. ECC procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.

PREPARATION

Female-presenting dancers should bring character heels. Please bring a hardcopy headshot and resume.

You may be asked to stay and sing. Please bring sheet music in the correct key for 16 bars of a traditional up-tempo musical theatre song that shows range. An accompanist will be provided.

Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
