Tickets to THE LION KING at DPAC on Sale Today

Disney Theatrical Productions and DPAC announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public today, November 21 at 10 a.m. The Triangle's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the DPAC stage on Tuesday, February 16 for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, March 13. The opening night is Thursday, February 18 at 7:30 p.m. The show's four-week premiere engagement in 2011 played a sold-out run at DPAC.

Tickets for Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale November 21 at 10 a.m.:

At DPAC, THE LION KING will play Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 6:30 p.m. with Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 1 p.m. Premium Ticket Packages, which include a prime seat location, a commemorative souvenir program and an exclusive merchandise item, are also available. Beginning Saturday, November 21 at 10 a.m., tickets will be available at the DPAC Ticket Center (919.680.2787, 123 Vivian Street/Durham), Ticketmaster (Ticketmaster.com, 800.928.2787) and online at DPACnc.com. Orders for groups of twelve (12) or more may be placed by emailing Groups@DPACnc.com.

Ticket buyers are reminded that DPAC and Ticketmaster are the only official retail ticket outlets for all performances at DPAC. Ticket buyers who purchase tickets from a ticket broker or any third party should be aware that DPAC is unable to reprint or replace lost or stolen tickets and is unable to contact patrons with information regarding time changes or other pertinent updates regarding the performance.

The North American touring productions of THE LION KING have been seen by more than 15 million theatergoers and grossed over $1 billion to date. Having already played more than 70 cities across North America, THE LION KING now proudly makes its Triangle return at DPAC.
