Raleigh Little Theatre to Stage DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS, 10/10-26

Eugene O'Neill's Desire Under The Elms, a combination of several Greek myths set on a family farm in New England, is the next offering by Raleigh Little Theatre in its 2014-15 Season of Love. Desire Under The Elms runs from October 10-26, 2014.

The play marks the directorial debut of David Henderson at RLT, who is well known to Triangle theatre audiences for his role as Jacob Marlowe in Theatre in the Park's A Christmas Carol and countless other lead roles and directorial turns, including work with his own company, Honest Pint Theatre Company.

"Desire Under the Elms reminds us that from ancient times to the present, misplaced desire and uncontrolled greed leads to our personal destruction and can tear the very fabric of our families apart. In our Season of Love, this play reminds us that love is especially dangerous when mixed with the relentless pursuit of power," said Patrick Torres, RLT's artistic director.
