Deep Dish Theater Sets Discussions, Special Events for 15th Season

The Deep Dish Theater Company has slated a number of pre- and post-performance discussions and special events in conjunction with its 15th Season offerings. The theater is presenting Anton Chekhov's THE CHERRY ORCHARD and OUTSIDE MULLINGAR by John Patrick Shanley in rotating repertory, October 2 through November 14.
Following is a list of the events, all free and open to the public:
* Sunday, October 11 - post-show discussion of Outside Mullingar with dramaturg Karen C. Blansfield and director Tony Lea * Friday, October 16 - pre-show "Meet the Play" discussion of The Cherry Orchard with dramaturg Adam Sobsey * Sunday, October 18 - post-show discussion of Outside Mullingar with Dr. Keith Cushman from UNC-Greensboro's English Dept. and members of the cast * Friday, October 23 - pre-show "Meet the Play" discussion of Outside Mullingar with dramaturg Karen C. Blansfield * Saturday, October 24 - two-show day (dinner in between at City Kitchen with members of the cast and crew): Outside Mullingar plays at 3 pm, The Cherry Orchard at 8 pm. * Sunday, October 25 - post-show discussion of The Cherry Orchard with dramaturg Adam Sobsey and director Paul Frellick * Tuesday, October 27 - Book Talk: Chekhov short stories (7 pm at Chapel Hill Public Library) with Evelyn Daniel; readers are invited to suggest stories to discuss
