BURNING COAL THEATRE COMPANY sm presents WAIT TIL YOU SEE THIS! 2011/2012 Second Stage Series

This season, expect to by captivated by the moving line-up of outside the box shows heading your way.

Showtimes are Thursday - Saturday (7:30 pm) and Sunday (2 pm), for each performance at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC.

August 4-14, 2011* - WONDER OF THE WORLD

Wild and wacky play about a woman who discovers something disturbing in her husband's sock drawer, and sets out on a journey of self-discovery to reclaim faith in herself.

January 12 - 22, 2012 - MARY'S WEDDING
(by Stephen Massicotte, directed by Josh Benjamin)

A young woman dreams about her previous lover just before nuptials with another man. Two young people find each other while taking shelter in a barn, in the midst of a gathering storm.

May 10-20, 2012 - FOR COLORED GIRLS...
(by Ntozake Stange)

For Colored Girls... is a series of twenty dramatic poems expressing journeys African-American women encounter throughout their lives. Among these are love, abandonment, abuse, motherhood and community.
