The Kolowrat Theatre Presents Brian Friel's INTIMATE LETTERS

By: Jan. 09, 2010

Great masters and love. Great works and love. Love as inspiration for creation. Love as the final outcry. Love as pain. Love as joy. Love, love, love. A play about Leoš Janá?ek, who in the autumn of his life became besotted with a young woman - Kamila Stösslová. The play will have its premiere on January 29 at the Kolowrat Theatre.

He loved her, he languished for her, and sent her letters full of passion. This very woman inspired his quartet "Intimate Letters".
