Anne Frank tinha apenas 13 anos quando foi lançada a este cruel desafio, juntamente com os seus pais, irmã, um casal amigo com um filho e um homem. Destas oito pessoas, sobreviveu apenas uma, Otto Frank, pai da Anne Frank, que mais tarde decidiu dar a conhecer ao mundo o diário da sua filha, morta num campo de concentração com apenas 15 anos.

In the village where they live there is the strange and mysterious Doctor Coppelius, an inventor who goes mad with the death of his daughter. He ends up building a ballerina doll, which he calls Coppélia, which he puts in the window every day.

Since then, he has created the Concert for a Tree, the film 7 Poems for a New World, with director Mário Melo Costa, and the film O Bosque, with Margarida Botelho (ordered by Gulbenkian).
