Peter Handke's 1966 classic anti-theatre happening gets slapped upside the head with a multi-disciplinary reworking for the modern age of pan-surveillance and fractured media self-reflection. Liminal brings Handke's experiment into the 21st century in a complex vocal, visual and conceptual score. Surveillance technology confronts the audience fumbling with messy feedback loops and SMS insults in the dark. Performed and in German, English, and hypertext. Turn on your cellphones, you will need them. Flash photography encouraged.
