Third Rail is after the Fountain of Youth!

By:

Mentorship Program Third Rail offers a Mentorship Program which pairs members of our professional company
with emerging artists seeking professional experience, or making the transition from educational institutions into the field at large. Our mentees work on a range of company projects and receive training from workshops as well as one-on-one skill building and career advice. (For Members Only - We invite Members to see the Mentorship Presentation on September 6th - the culmination of their first collaborative weekend! Please reserve your free seat through the Box Office.)

Free Rush Tickets In the Fall of 2014, we began offering FREE rush tickets to audiences under 25 ($15 for 25 and over). We are thrilled to help remove financial barriers for younger patrons to see our shows. Through this program, 247 new people shared in the Third Rail experience last year.

Student Subscriptions
Nearly all students are on a tight budget, limiting their ability to participate at the same level as our subscribers despite their desire to do so. We asked our loyal Third Rail patrons to partner with us to help bring these young people to the theatre, and they responded. At $100 per student, we sponsored student subscriptions for 14 deserving students, and hope to sponsor even more this year. If you'd like to help reduce the financial barriers for student subscribers, and want to see the direct results of your donation in action, then sponsoring a student subscription is an ideal way to participate.

There are many ways that you can support our efforts. Please call us any time at 503-235-1101 to ask about how. But right now we have an even easier way to help:

And the very next opportunity for students to attend a Third Rail show is...

September 18, 2015 - October 10, 2015 Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat at 7:30pm, Sun at 2:00pm

Set over the course of a single evening, Aphra Behn - poet, actress, spy, and one of the first professional female playwrights of the Restoration - has the opportunity to land her first commission for a professional company if she can deliver her play by dawn. Complicating this task are an array of lovers and rivals, from a rogue-spy to a blossoming ingenue to the king himself, vying for her time and affections. With echoes of Restoration comedy, quick-change farce, a dash or two of Tom Stoppard, and the sexual revolution of the 1960's, Or, is a little valentine to love in the theatre. Featuring Damon Kupper, Amy Newman, and Maureen Porter.
