Post5 Theatre Presents THE LAST DAYS and SPECTRAVAGASM V, Now thru 10/24

Post5 Theatre Company presents The Last Days by Carlos Cisco, directed by Rusty Tennant, presented by Ronni Lacroute/ Willakenzie Estate and Jessica and Aaron Grimmer at The Picnic House, in partnership with KZME Portland. Joined by The Best of Spectravagasm, written and co-Produced by Samuel Dinkowitz. The shows run today, October 3 through October 26, 2014.

Set amidst a zombie apocalypse, The Last Days is about four people just trying to survive till the next day. When one of their own comes home with an infectious bite, he refuses to tell anyone. As his health deteriorates their social structure collapses around them and upon his passing, his zombie becomes an avatar for the remaining survivors to project their guilt and fears on as they descend into the darkest reaches of their own minds.

The Best of Spectravagasm, aka Spectravagasm V. Over the past 2 years, Spectravagasm has comedically kicked Portland theater in the face. In its fifth installment, this Sketch Comedy group has compiled its finest offerings into one gasm-packed hour of shenanigans. From Robot Prostitutes, to Vegan Zombies, to a man born with one huge hand, Spectravagasm V is guaranteed to be better than the worse.

The Last Days will run approximately two hours with one 15-minute intermission. The show runs Thursday-Sunday, October 2nd - 26th at 7:30PM with a special opening night gala on October 3rd. Tickets are $15 (Sundays are Pay-What-You-Can) and can be purchased at www.postfivetheatre.org/tickets as well as www.boxofficetickets.com. The Best of Spectravagasm will run approximately 1 hour on Friday and Saturday beginning at 10pm, immediately after the performance of Last Days concludes. All Performances of The Best of Spectravagasm are Pay-What-You-Can. All shows at Post5 Theatre's Black Box at 850 NE 81st Street #122, Portland Oregon 97213 (Entrance on Oregon Street).
