'It's A Renaissance School Of Arts And Sciences' Joins Northwest Children's Theater Beginning In September
Beginning September 2009, Northwest Children's Theater and School is pleased to welcome a new partner to our building. It's A Renaissance School of Arts and Sciences, a brand-new private elementary school run by an award-winning principal and a team of highly respected educators from state and nationally honored public schools.
It's A Renaissance School features:
* Small class sizes, grades K-5
personalized instruction, transformative learning
* Extended day and extended year
Eleven-month school year, September through July, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Special focus Fridays, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Winter, spring and summer holidays
* Arts and sciences focus
Emphasis on inquiry, Reggio Emilia-style documentation of learning, Integrated skills instruction, community service and civic engagement
* After school enrichment
Access to NWCT for in-house arts programming, Other community partners for science and technology
NWCT is delighted to announce this exciting new partnership with this talented group of educators.
