Lakewood Center for the Arts to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, 9/18
"Although the building is still under construction," noted Executive Director Andrew Edwards, participants are invited to join the Lakewood Board and staff for this celebration and brief tours." Edwards continued, "We are pleased that donors to Lakewood support the work of new, emerging and established artists who call Lakewood home. Lakewood has become a regional destination for our artists and audiences and this project will greatly help Lakewood further its mission which is to inspire and nurture a love of theatre and the arts."
The building, newly named Warner Hall, is located at the north end of the Lakewood grounds and is connected to the main building by a raised sidewalk. Visitors are also invited to view the new Commemorative Brick Walkway that is also undergoing installation in the main courtyard entrance at Lakewood.
Visitors are also encouraged to stay for the Cole Porter musical Anything Goes playing that same night at 7:30 PM on the Headlee Mainstage. Tickets are available through our Box Office at 503-635-3901 or order online at www.lakewood-center.org.
