Info on the show: Slap That Bitch! (a contemporary retelling of Taming of The Shrew) An original work written by Francesca Sanders, created by Fuse Directed by Kerry E. Sorci Runs Feb. 18 - Mar. 20,2010 Thursday - Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm. Arena Stage @ Theater!Theatre! 3430 SE Belmont When William Shakespeare wrote Taming of the Shrew, there were few hip-hop artists around. But Fuse likes to think if he'd encountered some in the streets of London, it might have changed the style of this classic. Little Big is well known, an icon and a pretty desirable guy to be seen with. When Colette is selected to walk down the red carpet with him, she's sure it will boost her career. But Little Big has different plans and he treats her so badly, she wishes she never signed on to the event. When she shows up at his house the next day as part of an acting troupe, he tries to banish her. Will he have the last word on this matter... or will she? In this adaptation we look at domestic violence, the hip-hop world, modern day morality and possibly a brand new way to look at an age old play. Info on the Characters, as they are now (all actors should be at least over 18 please): -Little Big (Man) "That's right. I'm all that and a package of ho-hos.
