Defunkt Theatre presents the world premiere of The Undiscovered Country by DC Copeland. Directed by Paul Angelo, the production runs today, May 8-June 20, 2015 at The Back Door Theater, 4321 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland, OR (enter through the Common Grounds Coffee Shop).

A trio of interwoven tales of addiction combine to make a scintillating evening of theater exploring one of the major health epidemics of our time. The Undiscovered Country explores different facets of addiction in our community and how the power of love can both push people further into its grip or offer the hope of redemption. Collaborating with Paul Angelo after last season's hit Let A Hundred Flowers Bloom, and DC Copeland a rising young American playwright, who has chosen to make Portland her home, Defunkt creates a world class evening of theater that is entirely Made In Oregon.
