Artists Rep audiences will be the first in the Northwest to see this clever, contemporary romantic comedy about the courage and fear involved in everyday people hacking away at the jungle of a city searching for love, meaning and lasting relationships in this day and age.

Love blossoms in the grungy reality of New York when a regular guy named Jack - a lovable loser who is desperately romantically challenged - finds the girl of his dreams. His plan to win her heart includes a boat ride in Central Park and cooking a gourmet meal - never mind the fact that he doesn't know how to swim and can't cook. With the help of his friends, Jack learns to swim, cook, smoke pot and love - all to a reggae soundtrack. But meanwhile, those best friends roil in the complexities of a modern marriage that is slowly becoming unhinged.
