off the WALL productions welcomes the long-awaited return of writer/actor Anne Stockton and director Austin Pendleton (The Speed Queen - 2012), in collaboration once again, to present its season opener, "I Won't Be In On Monday," written and performed by Stockton.

As an actor/trainer for the New York City Police Department's Hostage Negotiation Team and Emergency Service Unit, she plays mentally ill individuals in training scenarios based on real life events. She is also a practicing psychiatrist. Her insight into the criminal mind has been a big part in creating the character of Nicki, the protagonist in "I Won't Be In On Monday."

The story sounds simple, Nikki is being interviewed by a detective in the high level financial firm where she works about the disappearance of two very valuable rings earlier that morning. But, as new information is revealed about the characters' past and about the current situation, the story begins to unfold into a 'whodunnit' play. A witty look at the ways in which we are swept away by the scenarios we imagine for our lives.

After its Pittsburgh premiere, the play will move to New York in February 2018 as part of the off the WALL "This Fortnight is Female" one-woman play festival.

Performance dates: Oct. 12, 13, 14 at 8:00 pm, Oct. 15 at 3:00 pm. Tickets: $ 5.00 - $ 40.00 Visit www.insideoffthewall.com or call 724-873-3576.
