Off The Wall Theater Presents THE OTHER PLACE, 10/12-27
The grand opening of the "new" Off The Wall Theater in Pittsburgh will take place Oct. 12, 2012 at 8:00 pm (25 W. Main Street, Carnegie, Penn.) with the premiere of The Other Place. Watch it in Pittsburgh before its upcoming Broadway premiere in December 2012.
Written by Sharr White, the production will be directed by Melissa Hill Grande. The cast will feature Erika Cuenca*, Virginia Wall Gruenert*, Mark C. Thompson* and Ricardo Vila-Roger.
Just as biophysicist Juliana Smithton's research leads to a potential breakthrough in dementia medication, her life takes a disorienting turn. During a lecture to colleagues at an exclusive beach resort, she glimpses an enigmatic young woman in a yellow bikini amidst the crowd of business suits. Who is this stranger, and why is she here? Gradually, a mystery unravels as contradictory evidence, blurred truth and fragmented memories collide in a cottage on the windswept shores of Cape Cod.
