Beatles Tribute Concert ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE Set for Byham Theater, 2/19

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE A Beatles Tribute Concert, will be presented by Rich Engler on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at 7:30 p.m., at the Byham Theater. This live concert celebrates the music of the The Beatles and their first and historic appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, on February 9, 1964. Tickets range in price from $43.75 to $63.75. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles coming to America, this concert will feature over 20 musicians performing live, note for note, all 26 tracks from the LOVE album (soundtrack remix album of music recorded by The Beatles, and released in November 2006), along with elements from over 130 songs. The album placed at #3 in the UK Album Chart during its first week of release. In the United States, the release placed #4 in the Billboard 200, and was certified platinum in 2006. The album won Grammys in two categories (2008)-Best Compilation Soundtrack Album and Best Surround Sound Album.
