Tinseled at Arizona Broadway Theatre

Tinseled is a new family musical written by Katie Postotnik (Book) and Barry Anderson and Mark Robert Petty (Music & Lyrics). The story follows Tinsel Peppermint, an elf who questions the expectations placed upon her in the North Pole and embarks on a journey that challenges everything she has been taught about happiness, belonging, and what it truly means to be yourself. The musical explores the pressures of perpetual positivity in a Christmas world obsessed with being merry and bright. This developmental showcase presents highlights from the score including One of the Heroes, Missing Piece, Full-Fledged Me, Wish, and Wrapped In Your Love For Christmas, and is the culmination of a week-long workshop involving rehearsals, script work, music sessions, and staging.
