Arizona Theatre Company closes its 58th season with Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, written by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen, a modern comedic spin on the classic Bram Stoker tale. The production features more than a dozen characters — including Van Helsing, Harker, Mina, and Lucy — portrayed by just five actors: Christopher James Stephens, Paul Vogt, James Romney, Kelly Bashar, and Susana Cordón. Directed by Gordon Greenberg, the show follows young Dracula as he searches for a London home fit for his eternal love, until his eager realtor's fiancée catches his eye. Originally developed as a pandemic-era podcast featuring high-profile talent, the production went on to become an Off-Broadway hit before landing at Tempe Center for the Arts.
