The Hebrew Hillbilly Comes to Santa Monica Playhouse Tonight

Growing up Jewish in the redneck South, Fisher says, "My first grade teacher called me a Hebrew Hillbilly. Everybody's life is filled with ups and downs, highs and lows." That explains the expression: 'Fifty Shades of Oy Vey!'
The show features 15 original Memphis inspired blues, rockn'roll and pop songs written by Shelley Fisher, Harold Payne and Ken Hirsch.The Hebrew Hillbilly Fifty Shades of Oy Vey! is a stunning musical journey. The show is filled with original songs that take the audience on a comedic and poignant ride though Fisher's rock n'roller coaster life and is an event not to be missed.
