Playing London’s West End and internationally, “The Simon & Garfunkel Story,” a theatrical event done in immersive concert style, debuts at The Theatre at Solaire this Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 8 p.m.
Starring James William Pattison (Paul Simon) and Charles Blyth (Art Garfunkel), “The Simon & Garfunkel Story” takes the audience back to the folk-rock duo’s humble beginnings in the ‘60s. One of the best-selling acts at that time, Simon and Garfunkel spawned at least three U.S. number-one hits: “The Sound of Silence,” “Mrs. Robinson,” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
The pair split in 1970; they only reunited for a concert in Central Park, New York, in 1981, performing before over 500,000 fans.
Simon and Garfunkel won over 10 Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award.
