Written and performed by Rebecca Wilson, this solo multi-tonal show combines wit, hard-hitting punchlines, and empathy to tell the story of caregiving for her mother, who is battling ovarian cancer, alongside her own struggles with mental health and substances. It explores family dynamics, unhealthy romantic relationships, and finding happiness again through a stint at a Boston psych ward and a Georgia rehab. Wilson, a stand-up comedian and actor, performs with energy, realism, and heart, hoping to encourage audiences to approach struggling people with curiosity rather than contempt.
