Voices of Brandywine at Brandywine Battlefield Park

Voices of Brandywine is a theatrical storytelling performance that explores the decisions faced by soldiers on both sides of the Battle of Brandywine, as well as the civilians who had to choose between family and values while surviving the consequences of war. With the support of the Delaware Theater Company, the words of historic figures including George Washington, Johann Ewald, Enoch Anderson, Polly Frazer, Joseph Townsend, and Benjamin Rush are brought to life. Performances alternate between the Benjamin Ring House and the Gideon Gilpin House, with each approximately 15-minute show running at staggered times throughout the day. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet History Makers portraying Anthony Wayne and Phillis Wheatley, presented by Historic Philadelphia, Inc.
